What it actually costs
- Time. Hygienists and doctors waiting on images, multiplied by the book.
- The room. A freeze in front of a patient does not look like a well-run office.
- Staff. The same bottleneck every day is how people burn out on “the computers.”
Most imaging issues come down to network bottlenecks, underpowered servers, or a poor link to Dentrix or Eaglesoft. A network and performance assessment often finds a switch, storage, or VPN — not a new sensor. Faster imaging is happier staff and a room that still looks like a practice.
